Welcome to DriversReward. We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our Chrome Extension, Android application, and website (driversreward.com).

2. Information We Collect

We only collect the information necessary to provide you with our rewards program:

• Account Information: Your name, email address, and a securely hashed password when you register for a DriversReward account.
• Trip Data: When you log into your driver portal, our extension or app collects data about your completed trips (e.g., fare amounts, distances, durations, pickup/dropoff districts, and timestamps).

Important: We DO NOT collect, store, or have access to your Uber login credentials (username or password). The extension and app only read the trip data displayed in your browser or in-app webview after you have securely logged in yourself.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To calculate and award reward points to your account.
• To verify the authenticity of trips to prevent fraud.
• To process gift card redemptions and send the codes to your email address.
• To aggregate and analyze anonymized market trends (e.g., average earnings per district). Your personal identity is never attached to these aggregated insights.

4. Permissions Justification

Chrome Extension — Our Chrome Extension requires the following permissions to function:

• Host Permissions (*://*.uber.com/*): Required to detect when you are logged into the driver portal and to read the trip earnings data necessary to award you points.
• Storage: Used to temporarily queue trip data locally before securely syncing it to our servers, and to store your DriversReward login session.

Android Application — Our Android app requires the following permissions:

• Internet Access: Required to communicate with the DriversReward API and to load the driver portal within the app.
• WebView: Used to provide a secure in-app browser where you log into the driver portal. Trip data is read from this session to award your points.

5. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures, including AES-256-GCM encryption for personally identifiable information. Raw trip payloads are automatically purged from our systems after 30 days. You may request account deletion and data removal at any time by contacting us.
